On the morning of May 26, the bank-hospital cooperation project of the People"s Hospital of Tibet Autonomous Region has been officially launched, which means that the largest comprehensive Class III Grade I public hospital in Tibet has realized self-service registration and payment, WeChat ID convenient service as well as multi-channel payment, and the urban and rural residents in Tibet have begun to enjoy the convenience brought by "Internet + medical treatment".
From the strategic height of hospital development, the bank-hospital cooperation project is put forward by Wu Wenming, general leader of the group medical aid team to Tibet, vice president of Peking Union Medical College Hospital and president of the People"s Hospital of Tibet Autonomous Region. After collective decision, scientific demonstration and careful implementation, it has been officially launched on May 26.
On April 19, the People"s Hospital has begun the trial operation of electronic payment window, now all the windows are available to electronic payment. At present, a total of 32 all-in-one self-service registration and payment machines have been installed in the outpatient building, emergency department building and medical technology building. 12 self-service machines are ready to be installed in the wards, and another 2 self-service machines will be placed in the information office for testing. A total of 46 self-service machines will serve the public. The functions that are already online include self-help registration, payment, medical records inquiry, laboratory test report printing, drug prices inquiry and so on. The follow-up online functions include 114 telephone reservation for registration, deposit payment in hospital, and comprehensive service evaluation. The long-term functions of the project can realize intelligent triage and queuing as well as self-service printing of image examination results.
On May 24, the project is still in trial stage. Tsamjo, who lives in Tohlung Dechen District of Lhasa City, makes an appointment with a favorite expert on the mobile phone through subscribing the WeChat official account of "Convenient Service Platform of People"s Hospital of Tibet Autonomous Region". "I don"t have to get up early and can reduce the queuing time. Besides saving both time and energy, I can make an appointment with experts at home. The service is very convenient!" She says.
